Share Your HAE Story

As HAE is such a rare condition, many patients and carers haven’t others that have experienced what it’s like living with HAE. When HAE patients and carers connect with others, quite often there is an overwhelming sense of relief to know that they are not alone and others have shared a similar journey.

HAE Australasia would like to publish on our website, stories from those living with the condition, whether that be as a patient or carer. If you feel you have a story to share and would like to contribute, can you write of your experiences in 500 words or less. Please include your name, age, hometown, career or study. Tell us of your HAE journey, diagnosis, challenges and rewards. How have medications helped? You may choose to include a photo. All submitters will be asked to provide their consent to have the story appear on the web site. If you would like to submit, please email your story to info@haeaustralasia.org.au and thank you for sharing your HAE experience
